SMART INNOVATION IS AS IMPORTANT TO THE MANUFACTurING PROCESS AS IT IS TO THE PRODUCT

Multi-Tasking for speed  This is a production process that combines several operations onto one machine. The ultimate goal is to turn, mill, drill, tap, bore and finish a part in a single process we call 'Done-In-One'. By combining multiple operations we can produce rapid, high precision results on complex products with globally competitive pricing.

The Specialists  Through our experience with a diverse range of products and industries, we have become leaders in specialist areas such as: small hole drilling, aluminium machining and finishing, exotic metal machining, plastics, small batch runs, prototyping and management of complex products. Our specialist industry fields include bio-med, medical, film, scientific, mining, plumbing, fluid control & transport.

All Materials covered  At Sorensen Engineering we can machine almost anything, from all types of aluminium, plastics, brass, copper, bronze and titanium, to stainless steels and speciality metals. Through many years working with diverse materials, we understand the intricacies of tooling, machining and finishing operations. We operate our own boutique anodising plant for in-house anodising of high quality, high spec parts.

Any Software Complex designs can be simply manipulated using our customers’ CAD data, or we can develop models in-house on high spec work stations. Our CAD/CAM package can work directly with Parasolid, IGES, STEP, ACIS, DXF and DWG files, ensuring we can work with data in almost any format.
